  1. Hmmm, your diptych is extremely interesting, and so is its interpretation. Somebody drowning “…suggests that you are becoming too deeply involved in something that is beyond your control. Alternatively, it represents a sense of loss in your own identity. You are unable to differentiate who you are anymore.”

As for the nearly empty pool that could be interpreted as indicating “.. that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to devote some time to clarify your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, it suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded.”

So much for the analysis of the meaning of the images. I hope you are not taking all this too seriously!! :)

    With loads of good wishes,

  2. Thank you, Christian.
I like your analysis very much, and I think it absolutely right interpretation. We “drowning” every night in our dreams, and when we sleep we are losing sense of reality as well as our identity:) Don’t you think?

  3. Absolutely! I really like this diptych more and more as I look at it!

  4. Again, it hits me immediately, in the solarplexus, the calm of the face, but the fractured pool, together they create a tension, a dread.
